Vivian Yuen was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended the University of British Columbia, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004. Vivian was admitted to the British Columbia bar in May 2005.

Vivian practices in all areas of immigration law, including work permits, PR card renewals, BC provincial nominees and skilled worker applications, spousal sponsorships, applications on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, appeals at the Immigration and Refugee Board, and judicial review applications at the Federal Court of Canada.

Vivian is a member of the Immigration Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association (British Columbia) and the Association of Chinese Canadian Professionals. She is on the events planning committee of the Canadian Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Forum. She is a volunteer lawyer for Access Justice. Vivian has written articles on various immigration topics for World Journal.

Vivian can speak Cantonese and is learning Mandarin.
