Jie Wang was born and raised in Beijing, China. She is a graduate of China University of Political Science and Law with a major of International Economic Law. She advanced her study in James Rogers College of Law of the University of Arizona and was awarded a LL.M degree in International Trade Law in 2001. She also graduated from the University of Victoria with a J.D. degree in 2008.
She worked for a major multinational company as in-house counsel from 1997-1999 and practiced law in a leading law firm in Beijing specializing in international investment from 2001-2005. She passed National Bar Examination of China in 1995 and was issued a license in China in 2003.
Jie Wang is articling with Larlee Rosenberg and will be called to bar in 2011.
